An Open Community

Open Mornings

Our open mornings have again proved very popular. The children love having their parents and grandparents with them in lessons! As well as a whole-school open morning, each class held a coffee morning / afternoon for parents to come into school and learn with their child. Teachers were also able to share ideas as to how parents can help and encourage their children with learning at home. These opportunities for parents to come in to school and enjoy learning activities with their children have proved extremely popular with both children and parents and are always very well-attended. They provide a great opportunity for teachers and parents to build up good relationships which, of course, will benefit the children.
