As myself and my Husband toured the School on our prospective parents visit, we noticed the good ICT facilities (an important aspect as my husband is a IT Professional!), we liked the fact that the School also teaches both French and Spanish languages. We were also pleasantly surprised by the extensive grounds of the School, due to its locality. Most importantly, St Matthew’s School is a Church School, which has close links with its namesake Church, of which the family are members.
I feel that our Son Sebastian has joined a caring Christian community, that also includes its multi-faith multicultural families, and settled in quickly to the School. I have no doubt that through the dedication of the staff that Sebastian will be given the support he needs to achieve his full potential. He has already recognised an ambition to become a pilot, at Year 1. I have felt reassured of Sebastian’s progress so far apart from his progress report, through verbal contact with his teacher, feeling that I able to arrange a appointment when I am concerned about any area. He has received steady support with his reading and writing, that has included home study. He has joined a Football after school club, run by Redhill Town FC, which he is enjoying.
What I have liked most about St Matthew’s is the dedication of its staff, including the Headteacher, and the strong Christian ethos that is transparent throughout the School.
