On-line payment for school meals

Did you know that you are able to pay online for your child’s school dinners, using either debit or credit card ?

Payment information

• payment can be made at anytime with a debit or credit card, and confirmation instantly reaches both you and the school. 
• payment is made through a secure site. 
• you may pay for more than one child at the school at the same time. 
• be assured that your debit / credit card details are not provided to the school or the council. 

Benefits for you

• your children do not need to carry cash or cheques to school.
• you don’t need to have the right change or write a cheque.
• you don’t need to queue at the school office.

Benefits for the school

• less time needed to count cash / list cheques for banking / bank the money, releasing office staff to spend more time on educational support.

Although you can, of course, continue to make use of the traditional method of payment via the school office, we do hope that you will make use of this system for payment, and that you will find it much easier. 

Instructions for Use

Please note that all payments are made through a secure site.

You may access the payment site in the following ways :

-      type the following URL in your internet window www.surreycc.gov.uk/schoolmeals

OR

-      go to the Surrey County Council homepage www.surreycc.gov.uk, click on Do it online, then Pay for it online, and then School Meals

(To save this site for future use, you can put it in the Favourites folder in your browser window). 

On the payment screen you can either :

-      enter the school code found at the top of this page into the school code field

OR

-      enter the school name selected from the drop down list

Please enter your child’s details next – child’s name, class and amount.  Please enter the amount you are paying in the format of ‘number, decimal point, number, without a £ sign (for example 10.00)

If you wish to make a comment about your payment, please enter it in the Feedback / comments box.  This text will also go to the school. 

When you have checked that the details are correct, please proceed to the payment card validation and follow the onscreen instructions. 

When payment is made, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from both WorldPay and Surrey County Council.  The school will also receive confirmation of the transaction and the payment is complete.
