Mrs Lavinia Sealy, Chairman of Surrey County Council, visits St Matthew's

Everyone at St Matthew's School was delighted that the Chairman of Surrey County Council, Mrs Lavinia Sealy, took time in her busy schedule to visit our school. (Tuesday 17th January) Mrs Sealey met with Mrs Lightfoot (Headteacher) and Mr Alexander (Chairman of Governors) before enjoying a tour of the school and speaking with children and teachers in the classrooms. This was Mrs Sealy's first visit to St Matthew's; she was very complimentary about what she saw and heard. As always the children were welcoming and courteous - they are a credit to our school.
