Teachers are also learners

Our teachers enjoyed an excellent training day on  Monday. The title of the day was “Developing classroom observation strategies to improve teaching and learning.” This really helpful presentation and activities were led by Colin Powell, now Assistant Director for School Effectiveness at Southwark Diocesan Board of Education, but previously deputy headteacher here at St Matthew’s!

The teaching your child receives here at St Matthew's is good, helping them to make progress with their learning and social skills and to achieve well. We are always working to improve what we do, particularly in maths and writing, in order to benefit the children as much as possible.
